About us
Introduction
Bazuin is a perennial & cut flower nursery, and also specializes in plant breeding. The nursery has a long history and is currently lead by the forth generation: Gerrit & Anke Bazuin. We are located in Eelde, The Netherlands.
Our main focus is to produce high quality flowers and plants, for floral wholesalers, garden centers, landscapers and flower auction house RFH. Our plant breeding activities are the latest addition to our family business. New plant varieties resulting from our breeding program are placed under our own registered trademark: Bazuin®.
The nursery also has a special section for private customers, but with limited opening hours. Where you can find our wide range of perennials.

Perennials
We grow a wide variety of perennials. Common species are grown in large quantities for gardencenters and professionals. Rare plants on the other hand, are grown in small numbers. We are open for private customers two days a week.
Cut flowers
With more than 40 years of experience in cultivating, we are able to produce beautiful flowers of the highest quality. Over the years we have specialized in growing dahlias. Today we have a wide range of dahlias in all shapes and colours.

Sustainability
Bazuin is MPS-ABC certified. MPS is a Dutch abbreviation for: Milieu Programma Sierteelt. And freely translates into: Enviromental Program Horticulture. MPS supports the horticulture, by helping them create sustainable and transparant entrepreneurships.
